Atelier Karia Gets New Body Shape Feature Based on Community Feedback
Gust confirmed a new body shape change feature for Atelier Karia, where the protagonist's appearance will vary based on her snack consumption, allowing players to toggle the effect on or off.
Gust, the developer behind the fantasy alchemy RPG Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories, has officially announced the inclusion of a "body shape change feature." The developer revealed in a post on the game's website that the decision to implement this mechanic was driven by recent community survey results and player feedback.
The feature ties Karia's appearance to her in-game habits, with her body shape changing depending on how much she eats during snacks. To accommodate different player preferences, the update will allow individuals to toggle these visual changes on or off and even lock the character's shape to their liking.
This development is part of the broader update for the title, which is set to release on the Switch 2 early next year.
