Giants' QB Situation Deepens as Jameis Winston and J.J. McCarthy Struggle

The New York Giants' quarterback situation has become increasingly concerning as Jameis Winston and J.J. McCarthy both saw extended playing time in the team's Week 6 loss to the New Orleans Saints. The Giants fell to 2-4 on the season, with the loss marking their third consecutive defeat.

Head coach John Harbaugh discussed the quarterback position following the game, acknowledging the struggles of both Winston and McCarthy. Winston, who started the game, completed 20 of 35 passes for 199 yards and a touchdown, but also threw two interceptions. McCarthy, who entered the game in the third quarter, completed 10 of 15 passes for 104 yards and an interception.

The Giants' offensive struggles were compounded by a strong defensive performance from the Saints, who held the Giants to just 27 points. The Giants' defense, however, was also disappointing, allowing 34 points and failing to make a significant impact in the game.
